Code of Conduct to be followed by Students

1. ONLY English should be spoken on the school premises to obtain a command over Spoken English.
2. All students will be regular, punctual, and obedient to the teachers and the school authority.
3. All students should respect and greet the teachers of the school whenever they meet them, whether in the school or outside.
4. Senior students should treat their juniors with love and affection and the juniors should show due respect to their
seniors.
5. Students should sit only in his/her assigned classroom or section.
6. Students should respect school assets and property. Students should be careful so that they do not disfigure or cause any damage to the school building, furniture, equipment, etc.
7. Students should not write graffiti or draw anything on the walls of the schools.
8. Students should not spoil or pluck flowers and cause damage to the plants.
9. Students are not allowed to bring any stick, knife, or any kind of object that can cause injury to others.
10. Ragging, bullying, using abusive and foul language, and rowdy or violent behavior in any form is strictly prohibited.
11. Students are advised to keep their classrooms, school building, and campus clean and throw leftovers/litter into
the appropriate waste bins.
12. Students will not bring a mobile telephone/smartwatch to school. If confiscated, it will not be returned, until and unless a disciplinary action is initiated against the student.
13. Students indulging in any form of violent or destructive activity will face disciplinary action as decided by the school authority.
14. A student found colluding or indulging in any act of violence committed by others that harms any student physically or mentally would face disciplinary action, including expulsion.
15. Students using unfair means during examinations will face disciplinary action.
16. Students shall not bring, smoke, eat, chew, or drink any substance containing tobacco or other intoxicating material.
Violation in any form will invite punishment, including expulsion.
17. Students will not gamble in any form.
18. Students will not indulge in casteism, communalism or the practice of untouchability in any form. Students will not make any derogatory remarks against any caste, community or religion.
19. Students will not bring crackers and burst the same on the school campus.
20. The school does not recognize the Student’s Union. Nor are any union activities permitted at any time within the school premises.
21. Irregular attendance, habitual idleness, disobedience, and conduct injurious to the moral tone of the school are
justifiable reasons for dismissal at any time of the year. Students with contagious diseases are asked to stay away.
22. The school accepts no responsibility, if the student is obliged to return home during class hours for failure to wear the school uniform to bring books to the class, or to produce the signature of parents on remarks written by the teachers in the attendance record of the calendar, etc. if a student is obliged to return home during the class hours. The school will not be held responsible, should anything untoward happen when a student is sent home for the above reasons.
23. The school cannot be held responsible for accidents small or serious, to students during their stay in the school or
while taking part in sports and other co-curricular activities within or outside the school premises.
24. Parents/Guardians are expected to make proper arrangements to collect their children immediately after
the classes. Proper care will be taken to ensure the safety of the children, the school cannot be held responsible
if a student leaves the school campus on his or her own accord.
25. The school diary is a record of the student. Therefore, every student should take special care of the diary, which is to be brought to the school daily.
26. Any misbehavior of a serious nature that has become public knowledge is liable to bring about suspension or dismissal from the school even though it takes place off the school premises.
27. Scribbling on the walls furniture or floor is to be strictly avoided. Any damage done to the school property, games
, and sports equipment including teachers’ personal property (bikes, cars, etc.) will have to be made good by the student/students. The decision of the principal/vice principal regarding the amount to be paid is final.
28. No magazines, papers, or books other than textbooks may be brought to the school without the permission of the
Principal. Parcels and letters are subject to inspection.
29. Ragging, taking drugs in any form, smoking and chewing betel nuts or tobacco, and consumption of alcohol are strictly forbidden. Fancy items such as electronic gadgets (fancy watches, toys, digital diaries, cell phones, cameras,
Walkman, CDs, cassettes, etc.) are not permitted in the school and those found guilty are liable to be suspended or
expelled.
30. Stealing and forging of signatures are serious faults and anybody found guilty is liable to immediate dismissal.
31. The students are responsible for the safe custody of their belongings. The school assumes no responsibility for them.
32. Ornaments and jewelry like rings, earrings, bangles, chains etc. unconventional hairstyle, not having proper
haircut or any make-up application of hair fixer, etc. that degrades the uniform a student wears will not be tolerated
and is liable to be suspended from school.
33. Students are not permitted to bring mobile phones to school. If found it will be seized and even could be dismissed from the school.
34. Students are strictly warned against having love affairs in the school. Anyone found indulging in it/instigating to do so shall be dismissed from the school.
35. The school shall not be held responsible for any untoward incidents that may happen while the student/students are/ are sent home to bring their parents.
36. Any disrespect/misbehavior shown to a teacher or teachers is a serious offense. Any parent/student doing so shall have his/her son/ daughter/student dismissed from the school.
37. Frequent failure in wearing a decent uniform is serious. The student may be asked to leave the class.
